Overview
Astragalus (Astragulus membranaceus) has been used in China for thousands of years, where it is commonly used for supporting healthy immune function and easing stress. The Chinese name for Astragalus is “huang qi” which means, “yellow energy”. Asian scientists have conducted several studies on this ancient herb. These studies confirm its adaptogenic properties, healthy immune support properties, and ability to support healthy inflammation response. At this time, studies are being conducted to explore several other potential benefits.
The plant part used is the root. The known active constituents in Astragalus are polysaccharides. Our Astragalus is standardized to contain 70% polysaccarides and is available in 60 count vegetarian capsules.
